Vizag Airport is to get more flights in the Winter with most of the airlines proposing new flights between the popular destinations. Even though, it is good to see more traffic through our airport, it is to be seen how the airport staff and facilities will handle this new wave of travelers.Indian Navy which operates the airport is waiting for approvals to recruit more personnel which will also include trained Air Control Staff to start the much awaited night operations. The primary cause for the restrictions of night traffic through our airport has been due to lack for properly trained staff to handle the night landing and departures.
