Have You Seen the White Tiger Cubs Yet?

White Tiger Cubs
The Vizag Zoo now hosts 3 White Tiger Cubs for visitors to see. The cubs born last year and their mother are being released into open enclosure for the first time at our zoo.
White tigers are a kind of tiger whose fur is white or almost white. This coloration is caused by a recessive gene. White tigers have been known to inhabit many parts of East Asia, including India and China. However, their current range has been much reduced due to over-hunting of their pelts.
Compared to orange tigers without the white gene, white tigers tend to be larger both at birth and at full adult size. This may have given them an advantage in the wild despite their unusual coloration.

So check out the tigers when you get a chance and let us know what you think of them!
