GITAM School of International Business, GITAM University has invited applications from the eligible candidates for admission to full-time/part-time Ph.D./M.Phil programmes in the stream of International Business. According to Research Programmes Chairperson R. Venkateswarlu, the School emphasises research broadly in two thrust areas - International Business and Global Entrepreneurship, specifically in such areas as Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Intellectual Properties Rights, International Trade Laws, International Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics and Operations Research and Management. The School considers applications in all functional areas of Management. Some Research Assistantships are available for full-time research scholars. Those with Masters degree in International Business, Management, Commerce, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, Engineering and Applied Mathematics with a 55% (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate or equivalent grade, are eligible.
Selection will be through an admission test followed by interview. Last date to submit application is October 9 and the admission test will be held on Oct. 24 and interview on Oct. 25. Application forms can be downloaded from the website www.gsib.edu.in.
