Size Matters
So when you get your new TV, think about its size remembering that the size is measured diagonally. The optimum size of a TV depends on the size of the room it will be put in. For example, if you are putting a TV in your bedroom , you should be fine with a 32'' TV.For a living room enviroment though, you would want a bigger size. Here's a thumb rule for determining the best size for your situation. Take the size of the TV and multiply by 2, that gives you the optimum distance between you and your TV to best enjoy. So if you TV size is 50 inches, then 100 inches or about 8 ft is the optimum distance.
